Celebrating Growth – Kyle Paulse

With a passion for developing people, Kyle Paulse from our team in South Africa is next up in our Celebrating Growth series.

Kyle, 29, is based at our Woodstock offices in Cape Town and has recently been promoted into a Client Trainer role working on our Telecommunications campaign.

Kyle joined us as a Sales Agent just six months ago and impressed the management team so much with his people skills and ambition after going through a tough selection process.

He said: “I really feel I have grown from the person I was six months ago due to the support and faith Sigma have shown in me. You can see why they promote around 90% of people from within the business.

“I have gained so many new skills and that has made me a more confident person. What has also been so important is my mentor within the business who I am learning so much from. He is so generous at sharing his knowledge and experiences and is an approach I am now reciprocating to new recruits who I have the opportunity to train as part of my new role.

“I realised very quickly that I see a long-term future with Sigma here in South Africa. It’s clear they are a business which is making an impact but also one which has opportunities internally at every turn.

“Training and development is put front and centre and that’s great for me in a training role as I know the business backs it. My daily role is all about interaction and giving support to new and existing colleagues. Sigma understands that and it allows me to adapt to any changes and issues.”

In his role so far Kyle has trained over 50 people and inducted them into the business, as well as training them on our IT systems and client’s key products so they can hit the ground running to service our clients.

He sees a big future at Sigma and he is making a big difference with his energy and passion every single day.
