Sigma Connected becomes Mental Health Charter Platinum member
As part of our ongoing commitment to the wellbeing and welfare of our employees, we are delighted to announce that we have been named as a Platinum Accredited Member of the Workplace Mental Health Charter.
The fantastic recognition is down to the hard work of our team of Mental Health First Aiders.
We were awarded Platinum status following an audit which studied our approach to mental health provisions and how we have provided mental health first aid training, workshops and a range of other initiatives which support and signpost employees.
Peter Harkness, Head of Health, Safety and Facilities at Sigma Connected said: “To be recognised by the Mental Health Charter is a wonderful moment for us and highlights the huge amount of work we’ve been doing around the wellbeing of our employees.
“We know that achieving Platinum status is rare but it also means we can’t let standards drop and must stick to the Mental Health Charter we’ve now signed up to which will continue to measure our impact and help guide us. We really are so proud and determined to do even more in the months and years ahead.”
Michael Lloyd, founder of the Workplace Mental Health Charter added: “This has been awarded following our verification audit and shows the commitment and enthusiasm the business has been making over the past 12 months when it comes to mental health awareness and support to their employees. Lots of businesses can learn from the amazing efforts that are being made in Sigma Connected, both current commitments but also future plans.
“Thank you to all the team at Sigma Connected, it’s heart-warming to know that there are organisations that are putting the health and wellbeing of their employees at the top of the business agenda.” Readers can find out more about Mental Health Charter here.
